Our Veterinary Support Staff
Kim L., Practice Manager
Kim joined KVC in May 2014. She has BA in Anthropology from Central Washington University, but has found her true passion to be in the veterinary field. Since graduation in 2007, Kim has worked as a veterinary receptionist, assistant, and assistant manager. Although she loves animals, she feels the best part of working at a veterinary clinic is building relationships with clients. Kim enjoys seeing the look on clients’ faces when they pick up their beloved pet from the hospital and knowing that the pet is in better health. Kim lives with her husband Chris and their beautiful daughter Abigail. They share their home with an Australian Cattle Dog mix named Chloe, a gray tabby named Ryo and a calico cat named Jewel. When not at work Kim enjoys spending quality time with her family, camping, hiking, and watching movies.
Celeste W., Surgical Supervisor
Celeste, our surgical supervisor, has been a part of our team since May 2006. She loves working at Keizer Veterinary Clinic because every day is different. She enjoys helping and improving animals’ lives, thinking quickly on her feet, and participating in emergency surgeries and orthopedic surgeries. Her own furry friends include Señor Paco, her Maine Coon, and Jaspurr, her brown tabby. When she isn’t at work, Celeste enjoys reading, watching movies, and designing jewelry. She loves travel and she has been to Italy, Australia, and Thailand.
Rachel G., Lead Pharmacy Technician
Rachel has been at Keizer Veterinary Clinic since May 2011. Before working for our team, she attended college at Oregon State University. She enjoys bringing comfort to sick or injured patients at our practice. Rachel grew up in a big family (she has a twin sister as well as two older sisters, a brother, two step brothers, and three step sisters). Now, she lives with her husband, Jake, and has a cat named Garrison. When she isn't at work, Rachel enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, and camping.
Jennifer S., Veterinary Technician
Jennifer is a veterinary assistant and has been with KVC since April 2000. She enjoys assisting and observing as the doctors diagnose and treat difficult cases. She also enjoys the expressions on the faces of both owners and pets when they are reunited after a treatment. Jennifer shares her home with her husband Dennis and their pets: three golden retrievers named Sophie, Oliver and Nora; and three Siamese cats named Daphne, Deva, and Luna. When not working, Jennifer loves gardening, cooking, hiking and observing her dogs daily for a reminder of what is important in life. She also founded a non-profit 501(c)(3) breed rescue for golden retrievers.
Rebecca A., Veterinary Technician
Rebecca has been with KVC since July 2014. She enjoys hands-on learning and providing compassionate care to all of the wonderful pets that come through our doors. She earned her BS degree from OSU in Fish and Wildlife. Rebecca lives with her husband Larry, their three cats named Oasis, Tempest, and Paradise, a snake named Bellatrix, and three bearded dragons named Remington, Colt and Winchester. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, and being outdoors.
Rachel P., Veterinary Technician
Rachel has been with KVC since June 2016. She recently graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Animal Science and plans on returning for Vet school in the near future.
Yadira E. (Dani), Veterinary Technician
Yadira joined our team in September of 2015. She has a BS in Animal Science from Oregon State University and has worked as an animal care taker in the past. Yadira enjoys working here because she loves the medical environment and knowing that we can help improve the health of companion animals. She enjoys working as a team and side by side with our doctors. Yadira is bilingual in Spanish and English and has a special interest in American Sign Language. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym early in the morning, and trying new foods. She has two family pets; a chihuahua mix named Ruffus and a cat named Smokey.
Mandy J., Veterinary Technician
Mandy has been with KVC since October of 2015. She has been working as a veterinary assistant since 2013 and is currently going to school at San Juan College to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She enjoys helping educate clients about products and medications and addressing any questions they may have about their pets. She also loves meeting all the wonderful pet parents and their pets while making their visit as comfortable as possible. Mandy lives in Keizer with her husband Billy and their three chihuahuas Marty, Annie, and Gideon. She also recently took our clinic kitty Benny home to live with them. In her spare time she enjoys reading books, hiking, camping, fishing, crocheting and anything DIY. Her dogs are involved in everything she does.
Sarah F., Veterinary Receptionist
Sarah has been with KVC since June of 2016. She enjoys being able to help people and animals in any way possible and is currently studying to become a dog trainer. In her free time Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughter learn new things. She lives with her husband Noah, their daughter Sophia, and her step daughter Lana. Sarah does not currently have any pets, although she hopes to in the near future.
Meghan F., Veterinary Receptionist
Meghan joined our team in August of 2016. Her favorite part of working at KVC is getting to meet our wonderful clients and their pets. She looks forward to coming to work each day and being able to make a difference in the lives of animals. Although she does not have any pets of her own, she gets attached to all the animals that come through our doors, as they are all so unique in their own way. When not at work, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading books, and relaxing watching movies.
Ondrea M. (Drea), Veterinary Receptionist
Ondrea has been with KVC since October 2016. She loves working here in the clinic because of the family-like atmosphere. Drea is a proud Oregon native and was raised on a lush 26 acre farm with plenty of livestock and critters to love and care for. Family is of the utmost importance to Drea. She enjoys thriving in the great outdoors with her soon-to-be husband, Darryl and her pit-iful dog, Grizz. They love spending their time together hunting, fishing, camping and exploring what Oregon has to offer.
Snickers, Clinic Cat
Snickers, our clinic cat, has been with us for eighteen years. She is our office mascot who loves getting snacks and meeting and greeting fellow felines. She was adopted and considers everyone at Keizer Veterinary Clinic to be her family (see also: loyal servants). Her hobbies include napping, eating, sunbathing, people watching, and did she mention eating? One thing people may not know about Snickers: she has lived here at the clinic for her whole life, and she splits her time between the front desk and the back of the clinic. Also, people often fail to realize that Snickers is a girl!
